Taxonomy[Martin, 1999: 54-55] : Puparia pale sometimes with brownish pigmentation; margin crenulated and sometimes slightly, modified at the thoracic furrows ventrallywith slight stippling; A concentric dorsal suture-like fold or furrow absent.
Setal traits and tubercles/papillae pattern or presence highly variable even within species;
Vasiform orifice acute-triangular leading into a pronounced caudal furrow; containing a spinulose acutely elongated lingula (inserted) and completely exposed with a trapezoidal operculum covering only the anterior half of the vasiform orifice.
