Nomenclature:

Dialeurodicus coehli  Bondar, 1928: 12-14.

Biology: Pupal case ovoid; marginal fringe of white wax; color yellow with darker dorsum exhibiting characteristic design [Bondar, 1928: 14][S.E.L.].

Distribution [Bondar, 1928: 14][S.E.L.]:  Neotropical:  Brazil.

Host: Myrtaceae [Bondar, 1928: 13-14][S.E.L.]Indet Genus.

Taxonomy [Bondar, 1928: 12-14]:  Reticulated dorsal pattern & paired pores absent;  simple pores present and restricted from median to subdorsum;  margin dentated with squared teeth;  tracheal & caudal fold margins imbricated or granulated; vasiform orifice chordate and at the posterior end reticulated;  operculum shape transversely subrectangular; characteristic shading of dorsum on one region  surrounding the vasiform orifice, and two from subdorsal to median area of body in the cephalic and abdominal areas. 

Related species: Most closely related to Dialeurodicus frontalis Bondar but this species differs with the simple pores scattered only around the vasiform orifice, the absence of paired pores, and normally a median brown characteristic patch from the cephalothorax to the 8th abdominal segment.
