Taxonomy [Bondar, 1923: 51-52]: Dorsal reticulated pattern absent; paired pores absent; simple pores absent except for a submarginal row of disc-like pores; vasiform orifice chordate & elongated; operculum with lateral margin rounded, cephalic margin straight, & caudal margin slightly sinuate; mammiform projection from caudal end of vasiform orifice; margin dentate with deep incisions forming rounded teeth; 13 pair of small submarginal setae.
Related species: No closely related genera since lacks 1) simple pores except those on the submargin, & 2) tessellated/reticulated pattern absent on dorsum.
