Nomenclature : 

Dialeurodicus frontalis  Bondar, 923: 57-60 (adult only).

Biology:  Not determined.

Host:  Lauraceae: Indet. [Bondar, 1923: 57-60], Persea americana  [Costa Lima, 1968: 109]. 

Distribution: Nearctic:  USA (Florida);  Neotropical:  Brazil [Bondar,  1923: 57-60][S.E.L.].

Taxonomy:  Dorsal reticulation absent;  paired pores present; simple pores present and scattered around the vasiform orifice only;  no spine-like projection from the caudal end of the vasiform orifice;  margin dentate;  nine radiating patches from the submedian terminating at the margin;  the thoracic (not caudal furrow) submargin is granulated or imbricated. 

Related species: Dr. Russell believes that this species belongs in  Bondaria because of the nine radiating patches and thoracic sub marginal granular appearance.    Resembles  Dialeurodicus coehli  Bondar but differs in the characteristic dark patches and the location of the simple pores.
