Taxonomy [Quaintance & Baker, 1913: 31]: Reticulated or tessellated dorsum; paired pores obvious and scattered; vasiform orifice chordate; operculum subrectangular with lateral margins rounded, cephalic & caudal margins straight; spine-like projection absent from the caudal end of the vasiform orifice. Margin divided by deep & acute transverse incisions forming rectangular shaped dentate like margin with a row of simple pores.
Related species: Similar to Dialeurodicus cockerellii (Quaintance) that differs in lacking the paired pores, the reticulated dorsum, and the spine like projection from the caudal margin of the vasiform orifice.
