Nomenclature [Bondar, 1923: 82-83]:
Metaleurodicus stelliferus Bondar
Distribution: Neotropical: Brazil [Bondar, 1923: 82].

Taxonomy [Bondar, 1923: 82-83] : With six pairs of subdorsal or submarginal compound pores. Central processes sometimes spine shaped arising from some of the compound pores. The lingula sometimes barely extending beyond the vasiform orifice. Dorsal loculate pores present as star-shaped structures mostly along the margin to submarginal areas (as described in Portuguese by Bondar).

May differ by the shape of the discoidal pores (not observed) that are illustrated by Bondar as the star branches much more angled and the central processes long, slender & spine-shaped arising from some of the abdominal compound pores.
