Biology [Russell 1947: 42-44]Subcircular to ellyptical;  dark brown to black puparia and heavily sclerotized or membraneous & colorless.  Puparia occur abundantly on upper & lower sides of the leaves.

Distribution [Russell 1947: 42-44]:  Western Hemisphere, limited to the  Nearctic geographical region.

Taxonomy [Russell 1947:42-44]Margin. Dentate with a submarginal rows of mammiform (nipple-shaped)  papillae, ridges,  pores and porettes;  Normally with dorsal clusters papillae in addition to submarginal row.

Similar genera [Russell 1947: 42-44]:  Placed in the tribe Trialeurodini based on the presence of the submarginal row of papillae normally complete in Aleuroparadoxus & Trialeurodes;  and interrupted in Venezaleyrodes.    Differs in the shape and cluster of mammiform like papillae.
