Aleurovitreus Martin

Biology: Puparia normally pale without any obvious waxy secretions; some species with dark patches.  Only undescribed species intercepted in quarantine.

Distribution: Neotropical.

Taxonomy: Cuticle often pale. Margin always deflexed ventrally. Cephalic-, meso-, meta-, A8 and caudal setae always present with thoracic pairs sometimes reduced. Vasiform orifice cordate and smooth internally, elevated posteriorly, and fully occupied by the operculum. Dorsal geminate pores/porettes present.
