Similar genera:  Similar in various aspects to Aleurotrachelus & Aleurotulus.

2.      Aleurotulus differs from Crenidorsum in that it has no submedian folds; and, that the lingula is long, spinulose, knobbed and excluded whereas the latter has the lingula inserted when folded, but may be exserted when unfolded, but not knobbed and spinulose.
