Nomenclature : 

Kaieteurodicus Type-species Kaieteurodicus cereus Martin 2008

Biology [Martin 2008]  Pupal case asymmetric being widest at midpoint; covered with white wax (hence the name cereus). 

Distribution: Neotropical being found in Guyana or Panama depending on species [Gillespie 2006] .

Taxonomy [Gillespie 2006] 

Subdorsum with cephalic and 5 abdominal compound pores present; Each compound pore with splines or an axial process; loculate and simple pores present on dorsal disc. 

Submedian cephalothoracic and A8 setal pairs present. Terminal claw present on each leg.  

Vasiform orifice circular to D” shaped.  Lingula is inserted with four stout setae.

Similar genera: Similar to Aleurodicus and Metaleurodicus sharing some characters and differing with other characters (Martin 2008).
