Nomenclature:

Biology: Shaded areas or patches may be present on pupal case (similar to Dialeurodicus).

Distribution: New World (Brazil)

Taxonomy: Terminal claw present on each leg.   Normally with 15 pairs of submarginal setae present.

Dorsal submedian  compound pores on abdominal segments 3, 4, 5, & 6 near the midline;  no compound pores on the cephalothorax or below the level of the vasiform orifice.  Vasiform orifice subtriangular shape with rounded posterior end;  lingula  inserted (glossary definition) and armed with two pair of setae.

Related genera: Some prepupal stages of other genera have submedian pores.  Shape may be similar to Dialeurodicus which has no compound pores in the pupal stage!
