Distribution: Palaearctic regions [Martin, 2008: 46]. 

Taxonomy [Martin, 2008: 45-46].

Submedian cephalothoracic setae, A8, and anterior marginal setae entirely absent; terminal claws absent on leg; antennae short; cephalic pair of subdorsal compound pores present with central processes.

Margin dentate; four to six abdominal pairs of subdorsal compound pores present with central processes  that may extends past orifice.  Simple pores absent on submargin and/or dorsum, if present few and one type.  

Similar genera: Can be confused with Aleuroctarthus and Aleurodicus. Originally placed in Aleurodicus but lacks a tarsal claw.
