Biology: Pale color.
Distribution: All species are palaearctic (India) with Singhius hibisci (Kotinsky) occurring in several zoogeographical areas.
Taxonomy: Outline. Oval to slightly elliptical. Margin. Dentate with pronounced tracheal
cleft plates and differentiated caudal cleft. Dorsum. Covered with papillae-like structures that may be wanting medially. Vasiform orifice rectangular and
open posteriorlyconnecting widely into the caudal
furrow. Operculum
subcordate obscuring lingula. Chaetotaxy. Paired dorsal setae
discernable. Pores.
Evident on dorsum.
Similar Genera: Tracheal plate in common
with Aleuroclava.
