Distribution and Habitat
Donnybrook to Albany with disjunct populations at Gingin and Esperance, growing in peaty soils in seasonally wet flats and drainage lines

Description
A rarely seen species 10–20 mm high (when flowering) with a smooth, bluish-green, heart-shaped leaf 8–18 mm long by 6–10 mm wide and a single purplish-red tubular flower 4–6 mm across.
