Distribution and Habitat

Bindoon to Israelite Bay, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A distinctive species 120–350 mm high with a hairy leaf 100–250 mm long by 15–25 mm wide and up to three red, yellow and green flowers 30–50 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

The species is readily distinguished from other members of the complex by its erect petals.
