Distribution and Habitat

Perth to Albany, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A lower south-western subspecies with a hairy leaf 60–150 mm long by 5–10 mm wide and up to two green, yellow and red flowers 50–70 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the other subspecies by its larger flowers, broader labellum and lower south-west distribution, rather than east of Jerramungup.
