Distribution and Habitat

Dongara to Cervantes and between William Bay and Israelite Bay, growing in sandy soils in coastal woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A rare, self-pollinating subspecies 100–250 mm high with a hairy leaf 100–200 mm long by 2–5 mm wide and up to two small. rarely opening creamy-white or greenish-cream flowers 20–25 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the subsp. bicalliata by its smaller, self-pollinating flowers that rarely open for more than a day or two.
