Distribution and Habitat
Stirling Range to Bridgetown, growing in sandy-clay and lateritic soils in open woodlands and shrublands.

Description
A distinctive subspecies 200–400 mm high with a hairy leaf 120–180 mm long by 2–4 mm wide and up to three mustard-yellow flowers 60–80 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the other subspecies by its larger flowers and usually later flowering period.
