Distribution and Habitat

Bremer Bay to Cape Arid, growing in sandy-clay and clay soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A colourful species 250–500 mm high with a hairy leaf 90–220 mm long by 6–10 mm wide and up to three red, yellow and green flowers 50–120 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

Unlike the related King Spider Orchid (Caladenia pectinata) this species sometimes has clubbed petals.
