Distribution and Habitat
Wongan Hills to Mt Barker and eastwards to Ravensthorpe, growing in sandy-clay and granitic soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description
A common wheatbelt species 200–400 mm high with a hairy leaf 100–200 mm long by 5–15 mm wide and up to three green, yellow and red flowers 50–90 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Caladenia attingens by its larger flowers and more northerly distribution.
