Distribution and Habitat

Wellstead to Emu Point, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in shrublands.

Description

A geographically restricted species 150–300 mm high with a hairy leaf 70–150 mm long by 2–3 mm wide and up to two yellow to pale brownish-yellow flowers 60–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Cream Spider Orchid (Caladenia horistes) by its more prominent flower markings, thicker apex to the petals and sepals and more westerly distribution.
