Distribution and Habitat

Yanchep to Busselton, growing in sandy soils in near coastal woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A near-coastal species 250–500 mm high with a hairy leaf 120–220 mm long by 5–12 mm wide and up to three white, pale yellow to pale yellowish-green and red flowers 50–80 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Carousel Spider Orchid (Caladenia arenicola) by its paler flower colour, shorter petals which lack clubs and finer labellum fringe segments with acute tips.
