Distribution and Habitat
Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, growing in sand, sandy-clay and granitic soils in woodlands and shrublands. The subspecies is particularly common on inland granite outcrops and rocky hills.

Description
A widespread, clumping subspecies 100–250 mm high with a hairy leaf 40–100 mm long by 5–15 mm wide and up to three pale to deep pink flowers 20–30 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the subsp. hirta by its pink, rather than creamy-white flowers and inland distribution.
