Distribution and Habitat

Norseman to Nerren Nerren Station, growing in soil pockets on granite outcrops and rocky hills.

Description

A common inland species 150–300 mm high with a hairy leaf 40–120 mm long by 4–15 mm wide and up to three glistening-white flowers 90–150 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related and sometimes co-occurring Outback Spider Orchid (Caladenia remota) by its shorter, broader, flattened leaves and broad squat labellum lamina calli which are glossy on top.
