Distribution and Habitat

Walpole to West Cliff Point, growing in sandy soil on consolidated coastal dunes.

Description

A distinctive, coastal species 300–600 mm high with a hairy leaf 80–200 mm long by 5–15 mm wide and up to two white to pale pinkish-white flowers 50–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from superficially similar White Spider Orchid (Caladenia longicauda) by its shorter petals, clubbed sepals and often pale pink suffused flowers.
