Description

A geographically restricted species 100–300 mm high with a hairy leaf, 50–150 mm long by 4–8 mm wide, which is tinged reddish-purple on the underside and up to three fragrant, creamy-white, red striped flowers 15–25 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is similar in appearance to Karri Cowslip Orchid (Caladenia flava subsp. sylvestris) which, although usually pale yellow and creamy-white in colour, can occasionally have wholly creamy-white flowers that are indistinguishable from those of C. lateritica.
