Distribution and Habitat

Chittering to Augusta and eastwards to Jerramungup, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests and woodlands.

Description

A common species 200–400 mm high with a hairy leaf 90–200 mm long by 20–25 mm wide and up to two green, yellow, white and red flowers 40–50 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the similar Big Clubbed Spider Orchid (Caladenia magniclavata) by the shorter clubs on its petals and sepals.
