Distribution and Habitat

East Yuna to south of Norseman, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soil on salt lake margins, granite outcrops, rocky hills and surrounding shrublands.

Description

An inland species 80–250 mm high with a ground-hugging, scarcely hairy leaf 40–80 mm long by 4–10 mm wide and one (rarely two) creamy-white, greenish-yellow and red flowers 20–30 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from other members of the Caladenia barbarossa complex by its long, narrow labellum with distinctive reclined horns.
