Moora to Bolgart, growing in brown loamy soil in open woodlands.

Description

A recently recognised species 220–400 mm high with a hairy leaf 50–200 mm long by 6–13 mm wide and up to three creamy-white, green to yellowish-green suffused flowers 70–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the similar White Spider orchid (Caladenia longicauda) by its shorter petals, clubbed sepals and regularly having up to eight rows of labellum lamina calli (C. longicauda usually has between four and six rows).
