Distribution and Habitat
Perth to Esperance, growing in sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests and woodlands, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description
A small flowered subspecies 50–100 mm high with a hairy leaf 50–90 mm long by 5–10 mm wide and up to three pale to deep-pink or, more rarely, white flowers 10–20 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the subsp. unita by its shorter stature, smaller flowers and generally earlier flowering period.
