Distribution and Habitat
Westdale to York with a disjunct population near Watheroo, growing in sandy-clay soils in seasonally wet flats and drainage lines.

Description
A rare subspecies 150–250 mm high with a hairy leaf 80–150 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to two variably white, red or yellow flowers 70–100 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the subsp. pendens by its citrus odour, more colourful flowers and shorter labellum.
