A late flowering species 150–250 mm high with a hairy leaf 60–120 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to three creamy-white to creamy-yellow flowers 40–50 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Yellow Spider Orchid (Caladenia denticulata) by its generally shorter scapes, smaller flowers which are consistently cream in colouration and later flowering period. It often grows near Brookton Highway Spider Orchid (C. fluvialis) but is readily distinguished from that species by its smaller flowers with shorter prominently arching petals and lateral sepals and its later flowering period.
