Distribution and Habitat

Beacon to north of Yalgoo, growing in soil pockets on granite outcrops, rocky hills and breakaways.

Description

A common, inland subspecies 150–300 mm high with a hairy leaf 100–170 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to two creamy-white to pale yellow flowers 70–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the often co-occurring Glistening Spider Orchid (Caladenia incensum) by its longer, narrower leaf, smaller flowers and thinner more erect labellum lamina calli that are dull on top.
