Dwellingup to Waroona, growing in lateritic-loam in forests.

Description

An attractive species 100–250 mm high with a hairy leaf, 60–150 mm long by 4–8 mm wide, which is tinged reddish-purple on the underside and up to three fragrant, pale pink flowers 20–30 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

Caladenia rosea and Spectacular Spider Orchid (Caladenia × spectabilis) are similar in appearance with C. rosea differing mainly in being scented and in generally lacking any orange or yellow colouration, although C. × spectabilis can also sometimes lack these colours.
