Distribution and Habitat

Mandurah to Australind, growing in sandy soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A recently described species 200–350 mm high with a hairy leaf 200–250 mm long by 6–13 mm wide and up to three pale yellow to greenish-yellow and white flowers 80–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related White Spider Orchid (Caladenia longicauda) by its pale yellow to greenish yellow flowers (white in C. longicauda) and the slightly thickened, densely glandular apices to the petals and sepals.
