Distribution and Habitat

Nerren Nerren to Augusta and eastwards to Condingup, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A common, variable species 150–300 mm high with a hairy leaf 50–150 mm long by 3–4 mm wide and up to three white to creamy-white, red-marked flowers 70–100 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Pendant Spider Orchid (Caladenia pendens) by its smaller flowers.
