Distribution and Habitat
Collie to Mt Barker, growing in sandy-clay soils in seasonally damp sites adjacent to rivers, creeks and swampy flats. It is especially common in the season following summer fire.

Description
A common hybrid 200–500 mm high with a dull green, prominently hairy leaf 100–150 mm long by 8–12 mm wide and up to three creamy-white, red-marked flowers 40–90 mm across.
