Distribution and Habitat

Ongerup to Ravensthorpe, growing in sandy-clay soil in open woodlands.

Description

An unusual hybrid 200–300 mm high with a dull green, prominently hairy leaf 60–150 mm long by 4–7 mm wide and up to two red and white flowers 40–60 mm across.

Notes

A distinctive hybrid between Lazy Spider Orchid (Caladenia multiclavia) and Cream Spider Orchid (C. horistes). Hybrids between C. multiclavia and other members of the Caladenia filamentosa complex are similar in appearance to C. × resupina and are easily mistaken for that taxon.
