Description

Corunastylis species have a slender, smooth leaf, a smooth flowering stem and up to 50 small flowers in a dense spike. Like the leek orchids (Prasophyllum) flowers are inverted with the labellum above, rather than below the column.

Distinguishing Features

However, in Corunastylis the lateral sepals are always widely separated rather than usually being united and the inflorescence emerges from near the top of the leaf rather than part way down.
