Distribution and Habitat
Gingin to Cheyne Beach, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and loam soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands. In high rainfall areas colonies can often be found on moss covered tree stumps and fallen logs.

Description
A common species 10–30 mm high (when flowering) with a smooth, rounded, ground-hugging leaf 10–30 mm long by 10–25 mm wide and a single purplish-red flower 9–12 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the other Western Australian Corysanthes species by its purplish-red laid back flowers.
