Distribution and Habitat
Binu to Israelite Bay, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands. In inland areas the species occupies shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description
A common species 100–400 mm high with a smooth, rounded, ground-hugging leaf 30–70 mm long by 20–60 mm wide and up to 15 reddish-brown to greenish-fawn flowers 4–5 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It has more numerous, smaller flowers and a narrower labellum than the related Mosquito Orchid (Cyrtostylis robusta).
