Distribution and Habitat
Perth to Israelite Bay, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and granitic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands. In inland areas northeast of Esperance the species occupies shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description
A widespread species 100–300 mm high with a smooth, rounded, ground-hugging leaf 30–60 mm long by 20–50 mm wide and up to eight reddish-brown to greenish-fawn flowers 5–6 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It has fewer, larger flowers and a broader labellum than the related Midge Orchid (Cyrtostylis huegelii).
