Description

Dipodium species have diverse growth forms ranging from leafy epiphytes to leafless geophytes that obtain nutrition through specialized mycorrhizal fungi. The Kimberley species are all leafless saprophytic, wet season growing geophytes that are only visible when the flowering stems appear.
