Distribution and Habitat

Nerren Nerren to Dongara, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A recently named species 250–450 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 150–250 mm long by 6–14 mm wide and up to six yellow and brown flowers 20–30 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Common Orchid (Diuris corymbosa) by its generally paler flower colour, often crossed, prominently recurved lateral sepals and more northerly distribution.
