Distribution and Habitat

Tardun to Merredin, growing in sandy-clay soils in woodlands and shrublands. The species is also often found in shallow soil pockets on granite outcrops.

Description

A recently recognised species 150–350 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 100–200 mm long by 4–7 mm wide and up to seven pale yellow and light brown flowers 12–16 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related Mini Donkey Orchid (Diuris recurva) by its larger, generally paler coloured flowers.
