Distribution and Habitat

Binu to Bolgart, growing in sandy and sandy-clay soils in woodlands and shrublands.

Description

A small-flowered species 200–300 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 100–200 mm long by 8–10 mm wide and up to nine yellow and brown flowers 10–13 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the related and often co-occurring Chapman Valley Donkey Orchid (Diuris sp. ‘Chapman Valley’) by its slightly earlier flowering period and smaller flowers.
