Distribution and Habitat
Augusta, growing in sandy-clay and clay soils in seasonally wet flats, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description
A geographically restricted species 250–400 mm high with four to six smooth leaves 60–150 mm long by 1.5–2 mm wide and up to five yellow, brown marked flowers 18–25 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Tall Bee Orchid (Diuris carinata) by its more south-westerly distribution, slightly smaller flowers and generally later flowering period.
