Newdegate to Pingrup, growing in sandy-clay soils surrounding granite outcrops.

Description

A recently recognised species 120–200 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 60–150 mm long by 3–5 mm wide and up to five yellow and reddish-brown flowers 14–20 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is related to Mini Donkey Orchid (Diuris recurva) and Pale Donkey Orchid (D. pallescens) but has generally larger, darker coloured flowers and a more southerly distribution.
