Description

Eriochilus species have a dull green leaf, a scarcely hairy flower stem and up to 25 sweetly scented white or pink flowers with a broad dorsal sepal, narrow petals, broad, ear-like lateral sepals and a densely woolly labellum. The leaf is either basal or situated well up the flowering stem.
