Distribution and Habitat

Esperance to Balladonia, growing in soil pockets on granite outcrops. Its distribution overlaps with the subsp. undulatus northeast of Esperance but they occupy different habitat with undulatus found in surrounding woodlands.

Description

An eastern subspecies 140–350 mm high with a smooth margined leaf 20–55 mm long by 5–10 mm wide and up to eight white, dull green and red flowers 10–12 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the similar subsp. dilatatus by its usually shorter leaf and granite outcrop habitat east and north-east of Esperance.
